As if it were always here and always will be, as if there were no pain, no strain, no cruelty, no hate nor turmoil. It's crazy, incredible, inconceivable, completely insane and fantastic. Planet earth, as fragile as it is mighty, as vulnerable as it is resilient but not indestructible as billions of other celestial elements graze on and share the same immense cosmic pasture. Planets play with the stars and one wonders how it is all organized and maintained while life and light, death and darkness jockey for position. Perhaps we are lost in space crashing recklessly into spaces already occupied or floundering about like graceful koi fish in a heavenly pond. The ever present challenge to find our place our joy our peace our purpose. Here I am, here we are with our slight yet important presence in the middle of it all at the center of the mysterious vastness.
